can any one help???? I ride an 08 softail nite train which I bought new. since I have had it, it ocasionally shuts off when I come to a stop. the dealership I bought it from cant find any thing wrong with it. Weather I ride it hard or just a nice mello ride it still does it. allways when I slow to a stop, but not every time I stop. Usually 3 or 4 times during a ride. I have put v&h shortshot ,v&h fuel pak,and high flow air cleaner on it. can anyone help Abe

 

The engine temperature sensor was bad on mine and did the same thing. The part is $35 and easy as a plug to change.

doesn't it give U any code to check,,,seems like it should..

Mine did it a few time after stg1, last year, now when cams added this yr, and new dyno tune, I told the tuner about it and he said with the SERT he could tune that out and have had no problems since then..

 

I had the throttle sensor replaced.

Has not happened since.
