I have the River Road double zipper boots. Picked them up at Cyclegear. They have a huge sale on New Years Day. 20% off everything at least.

I always wear steel tip boots when riding, they have already saved my toes.

rode in 40 degree temps last week in my harley boots and could feel the cold air coming thru the zipper, rode again the next day ( same temp.) but wore cowboy boots, much better. no breaks for the wind to get in.

I have a pair of Harley brand boots. They're a mid-rise style with a side zipper. Not bad but I'm thinking of investing in some Redwings in the spring. People have different philosophies about boots, just like helmets. I'm a full-face helmet guy but not everyone is.

I have a friend who got into a wreck on his bike (some woman not paying attention) and he had a on a pair of boots similar to what I wear and still messed his ankle up pretty bad. He wears a pair a lot like the aerostitch boots now and swears that's all he'll wear from now on.

After extensive research, I decided on Milwaukee MC boots (Trooper).
Got a great deal on them from www.workingperson.com
Very satisfied with the boots and fast service from this store.

I wear a pair of Doc Marten's 1460's. I wear them pretty much every day, riding the bike or not. If I'm not wearing those while riding, I have a pair of Corocan jump boots that I'll wear.

I always wear Double-H AG7 work western boots when I ride. They have a heavy sole and they're as comfy as slippers. I'm currently on my 3rd pair.
Check them out. They're on the top row, second from the left.
