i'm building my tc 88 to 95" wondering if roller lifters would be good for the long haul, and what gains would come from them?

You already have rolller lifters. You could go to roller rocker arms. It will reduce some friction which in turn will make a few more HP. But they are not necessary.

Just stay sensible when it comes to camshaft choice,to much cam and you will not be happy.Roller lifters have always been standard in HD's
