$53 for my custom plate for a year

Oh yea, and then there is the County Property Tax %1 of the county's opinion of the value of the vehicle. So, $20K bike = $200

$14.00 last year just jumped up to $43.00 I dont feel so bad Im glad I dont live in The Republik of Kalifornia.

$233 on an 09 SuperGlide. It's pretty fuel efficient and exerts minimal impact on our roads and highways. Way to go California!

my 76 and 85 hd's have collector plates. no yearly plate fees for life. my mopeds are 2 years for $23.

It goes down each year with depreciation, which is why there are a lot of old, worn out vehicles on the road here.
I lived in Indiana where they do that and thought when moving to AZ I would finally drop that penalty tax........nope.

Here in the commonwealth its a flat fee for bikes its around $20. Cars are all the same rate, trucks are based on wt rating as well as trailers.
