Who Does The Best Chrome?
I recently had some parts replaced at a local dealer and within 3 months I have rust coming through the chrome.... I don't have a garage, but I do keep my Springer covered and try to keep a good coat of wax on it to avoid rust, but I have also lost all confidence in the crappy Chinese chrome sold by Harley these days.... Original parts on my 97 Springer (such as the rear fender rails, rocker boxes, dash, etc.) still look fantastic. The new auxiliary light bar (holds the two driving lights on either side of the headlight - 3 months old) is rusting!
So I am looking for opinions from the group as to what companies have the best aftermarket parts with the best chrome?
Also, any tips that will help keep things weatherproof as long as possible?

I hear brown's is the best on the east coast. They have a web site.It might be cheaper to buy a shed so the bike stays dry. Here's their web site www.brownsplating.com

Your cover might be part of the problem trapping moisture. I keep mine covered over the winter in the garage and keep a light bulb under it - they also make something called a Golden Rod that is made for this purpose.

No good way to cover a bike for weather. Its gonna trap moister. Cover is only good for dust protection and even then it still gets dusty. I keep mine covered under a carport, open on one end. When we have big temp swings in the spring and fall I keep it uncovered and run a fan on it to help dry the condensation.
Cant tell ya whose got the best chrome, seems like a crap shoot to me. Id say your doing about all you can do for protection with a good coat of wax.
