I have one of each and I can assure you the painted surfaces of the Black Denim scoot are much easier to clean than the Cobalt Blue bike for one glaring reason (pun intended)........NO WAXING !!!

To be honest... I'm a fan of blacked out bikes but I still think the blacked out bikes need a bit of chrome. Too much chrome or too much black is too much in my opinion.

What other colors are there? I guess we could leave heat shields off the pipes and then they'd be that goldish, blue, red color...that'd add some color!
you have a nice looing machine, but I'll stay where I am

My bike is totally chromed out. But at the end of the day, when I get back home and it shows every speck of dirt, I feel a bit of envy toward the guys with blacked out bikes. But..... I like both chrome and black so I like a combination of both.

Black looks great. But I find it to be hard to take care of. It wants to show every little imperfection. Just when you thought you had it perfect the sun hits it from some different angle and voila, it's all messed up.

Wouldn't think it would be worse than chrome. Also many of the newer blacked out bikes are a flat black or something like that. That would be a different story on showing dirt I would think.
