Handy Lift Out of Business....
I just picked one up from Craig's List, and was trying to contact Handy to ask a few questions. I finally called one of the dealers on the Handy website, who informed me that they are closed down!
I ran a google search, and it looks like he's correct.

The liquidation of Handy Industries has been completed, according to the company responsible for overseeing the process.
The company had shut down last month, after more than 45 years in business. At that time it was reported by Hamernik, LLC, an Indianapolis-based crisis management firm, the shut down would avoid liabilities which would not be able to be paid and expedite sale prospects.
Hamernik was only engaged by Handy in its final days, reporting that it was directed to maximize value and has successfully sold the assets of the business avoiding a complete loss.
In a press release, Kevin Hamernik said the sale was successful not only in avoiding a liquidation but in preserving employment opportunities which will follow the business operations.
No other details on those opportunities were released and Hamernik did not respond to a questions seeking additional information. At the time of the shutdown, the company employed approximately 30 people.
Handy Industries was highly regarded in the professional shop equipment, lift and truck accessory industry.
Terms of sale provide for customer open orders to be fulfilled. Preliminary estimates suggest there will be proceeds sufficient for distributions to pay back to creditors once a final accounting of claims is made.

I hate to hear they went out of business. With a shrinking economy there are fewer shops needing lifts and the average consumer is not willing to pay 2K for personal use. Makes it tough to stay in business just selling replacement parts.

I talked to a guy at "Material Flow" that carries Handy-Lift and he says they (Handy Lift) were bought out and will be back in business as Handy Lift, a subsidiary of xxxxxxxx.
Sale guy says some dude in Texas bought almost all the remaining stock of lifts thinking he would have the market cornered. So, if anybody know "some guy" in Texas with a boat load of motorcycle lifts...let us know.
