j/k it was at a police training demonstration today, they tipped it over on purpose to show the proper way to pick it up

he was putting it in gear so it wouldn't roll once it got up.

Alright, I'll be the idiot. Since I have never dropped mine, what IS the best way to pick it up if your by yourself??

From the above photo, be sure side stand is down, bike is in first gear. Handle bars turned al the way to the right. BACK-UP to the bike. Take the right handle bar with left hand and take right hand and in this case grab the saddle bag "crash bars". Squat down, keep back straight and stand up using your legs to raise the bike up. Careful at the top but let the bike go over onto it's side stand.

For drop on left side, improvise the above.

if it's dropped on the left just tip it over on to the right side and see the intructions above
