Up here in Montana, riding alone means exactly that. Just me, and mother nature.....I fella can cruse for miles on end without even seeing a human being. Mightly nice way to spend an afternoon.

I usually ride by myself, but this week I rode with a bunch of old retired guys about 90 miles to meet for lunch. There were around 20 of us riding together, and they do know how to ride. We were riding the back roads and we all kept pretty much spread out. Made it very relaxing for everybody. It was kind of fun for me as I haven't ridden with others for quite a while. I am like others here and am retired and can ride when and where I want.

I ride solo most of the time. I've done two cross country's in the last three years. I enjoy the solitude. I do however miss sometimes being able to talk to someone when you see something exciting on the ride.

I thought I was one of the only ones that preferred riding alone. Probably 95% of my riding is by myself. My favorite way to spend a summer day is go to breakfast at the local mexican cafe then ride around all day finish it off with a swim in the lake.

I put a gps on my Fatboy and now just ride wherever. When I'm ready to go home, I hit the home button and it lays out a route. I have been down roads that I never new existed

Riding alone cleans out the mind and refreshes the soul. My old riding buddy had a bad crash and doesn't ride anymore due to his wife's fears so most of my riding is alone. Sometimes it is nice to be able to share something you discover on a ride with a friend.

Like many folks here most all my riding is done alone. It's how I want it. That's my time and I treasure it.

My BIL has a neighbor that has a Harley I guess and he is always trying to hook me up with him so I will have someone to ride with. I just tell him to "relax", it's cool.
