Poker run do's & don'ts
#21
The one's I've been on usually had an entry fee, 20 bucks or so for each bike, rider, couple, what have you. Several have had bars as each stop, which I didn't mind...the stops were usually 30 minutes to an hour apart, so I was ready for a cold one. Most of the time some decent food and good tunes at the end. Just try to ignore the necessary b.s. that comes with those events, and have a good time.

Most poker runs aren't pack rides unless you have a lot of riders who are unfamiliar with the route. If you're comfortable getting around the area where the run is, feel free to go on your own. It's safer that way.

Went on a Moose Poker run . Found out that a group of people that have a Bar for a club house are professional drinkers.. I like to go on the poker runs that take you on some roads that you may have never been on before.

I've only been on one poker run, but had a good time. We started out just outside of Fort Lee, VA and saw some beautiful southern VA scenery. I showed up by myself but ended up attaching to a group of eight or so other riders. The whole thing was a good experience and I imagine it won't be my last poker run.

If it's a poker run for someones health or to raise money to send our little league team to the world series or like Lilly Grace LaBouve who is 2 years old and needs a heart transplant poker run today give them the money you win you cheap bastards.
