Can anyone tell me if there is an in-line fuse some where out of sight on a 09 Ultra?

The lighter was working on the way to Sturgis and the first day out there I used it to charge my cell phone, next day when I went to use it, I had no power. Got home & tore the bike down to clean it and look for my lighter problem. I have NO power in the wires going to the lighter. Everything else works fine on the bike. All fuses in the main box are OK. Any help woul be appreciated. Pasqualy

 

Check the fuses in the main box again. The lighter fuse isn't really labeled well--it should be a 15 amp fuse though.

Blew a few of them when running my GPS from the lighter plug. Turn the bars too far left and it shoved the plug over and shorted the fuse. I'm real good at replacing that 15 amp fuse now, top row, think it's labeled P&A.

Well I can tell you there isn't one on 01. Bust our your service manual cuz it doesn't appear anyone wants to chime in.

How did you check for power. Meter or just plugging something into it?

I will run out to the garage now and couble check the fuse.

Removed fairing, unpluged both wires and checked them with a 12V test lamp. Lamp does work on other live circuits.

 

Problem solved. Guess I need to get glasses. Fuse was bad and you are correct on location, marked P & A.
