Ok guys and gals....
I have a wierd one for ya....
We where at State Church in Paso Robles at the Motel 6....
Sunday morning as people where getting ready to head out to differant points in CA....
One guy was having troubles, his bike would not start his security system would not let his bike start.
We changed his battery in his fob, checked all of his fuses, we even tried to disable his alarm, nothing would work.
He finialy called for someone to come pick his bike up, Mean time, I go to the other side of the Motel to get my bike, it starts and I ride to where eveyone else is, Now 6 bikes would not start, same problem....
Another guy starts his bike elswhere and rides over and then his bike would not start, So I finialy just pushed my bike about 25 yards away by the front office and as soon as I crossed this certin point my blinkers quit blinking and my bike started up....
So I yelled back to everyone to push there bikes past this certin point, Everybodys bike started up....
How friking wierd is this....We have no idea what happend, did someone in a cage park by us with some kind electronic devise left on that messed with our security systems....Was there a ufo flying around, feds with new toys jaming us....?
I just thought I would relate this episode to everyone, so if it happens to you, a group of bikes that wont start, try moving them to see if they will start....

Some kind of electrical interference that screws up the signal to the alarm, I had that happen once before under power lines.

I would think that entering the PIN would have worked though.

My guess also. I'm surprised no one thought of disarming the alarm manually. The instructions are in the owner's manual. If you haven't changed the factory pin, I suggest you do that or anyone who has knowledge of the system can start your bike. I think the factory code is 1,2,3,4,5.

I know if you park too close to automatic doors at a store it can mess with the security system. Dad parked in front of a store and his wouldn't start. On the the local shop techs came out and couldn't figure it out after the rolled it to the trailer they tried one more time and it started up.

Should have pushed the bike back and seen if it did it again. My guess is signal interference from something. Would have been interesting to know what from.
