Default Engine compression

Is 10.6:1 compression too much for street motors. I was looking at the GMR website and their power package 2. It sounds good, but is that compression too much for a RK street bike. Also what other issues would you run into - starters, clutch etc

A lot depends on the cam(s) you have. More radical valve timing reduces the compression pressure at low speeds where detonation is more likely to be a problem. This will also help lower the load on your starter.

Not at all,it all depends on the engine package. My 10:8 to 1 motor runs like a stocker. If your going to run a lot more HP than stock, you certainly will need to beef up the clutch. The starter can be a stock HD,just upgrade your cables and make certain the grounds are in top shape. Most all the big inch motors come with compression releases installed.
