Default primary case removal

I'm trying to remove inside primary case from 06' deluxe. I've removed the 6 bolts on the inside and the 2 bolts on the outside near the oil filter. it seems loose on the stator side (its wiggling) , but the back side (where clutch was) isn't budging at all. Is there bolts running thru the back side of the case that I'm not seeing or do I just need to pry on it a little.

Yes. And difficult to remove one of the two bolts. I use an 18" 1/4 extension and an extra set of eyes to guide me to the bolt from both sides.

got it. ended up pulling the oil tank which was kind of a bitch but it made the starter easily accessible. thanks for the advice. one more question, how do I remove the plastic breather tubes that are behind air cleaner cover. do I just grab them with some pliers and wiggle them off, I tried a little bit but didn't wanna pull too hard and break them. thanks again.

You need to buy a service manual. And you really should learn to use the forum properly, instead of repeating the same questions all over different sections.
