I'm running the Denim only because the Dealer didn't have the Vivid - I plan on sending the tins out for paint this winter to rid the Denim - haven't picked a color but it will not be Denim
Don't get me wrong, the Denim looks nice but I prefer a gloss shine

Ask your ol which color she prefers to wash, that will be the color to get.

I dig both, and have had both. This time around I went with the denim black, yeah it must be pretty "trendy" or "faddish", hot rods and bikes have been getting painted flat black or primered colors since back in the day.

Unique & different colors are the most eye-catching, IMHO. I've always liked the denim orange, but I think denim paint looks best combined with a combination of gloss accents in the same color. HD has had some really interesting colors over the years, and the best quality paint jobs out there!

I bought vivid black. Looked great but it was a pain to keep it beautiful and I got tired of it. New one I have two tone metallic reds. Easier to keep clean and I like the colors. I love the two color bikes.

Get the Vivid Black. The denim is going out of style and you will be sending the tins out for painting in a few years. No regrets with Vivid Black. SJ Ron

Whatever you do, don't get Charcoal Pearl... cuz that's the color I got and I want to make sure no one else has it
