Hi all, I have a 2014 Ultra Classic. A few weeks ago I went for a short ride. When I got home I turned off bike, got off and then turned it back on to check how may miles I had gone. When I did this, it asked to enter security PIN. I thought maybe battery had died in key fob, so I changed it. However it is still asking for PIN even though I have fob with me and has new battery. Only way I can start it is to enter PIN every time. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks

 

Replacement battery in the fob is dead too (bad battery) or installed upside down - seems to be a common occurrence.

 

If your fob battery checks out good, you may have to go to your dealer and have the fob remarried to the bike. Mine needed this done.
