Default Throttle side controls

I have a 13 ultra and want to roll my controls forward a bit but it does not want to move. I was able to move left side with no issues. This is my first TBW bike so I am not familiar with grips on this and how it works. I don't want to force it if I might damage some thing in the process. Anyone have any ideas of what might be holding it Up? All external components have clearance but as I said not sure what's on the inside. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is a gear on the inside of the grip that controls the TGS. I can't recall if you would need to pull it out to move your controls forward. Loosen the controls and the grip will pull right off. Shouldn't be anything to what you are going.

Search for resetting the TGS. I think it's key on, key off - three or 5 times? This resets the TGS to a neutral state ( idle)
