Got a 07 punched to 103 with 10.5 comp pistons mild ported polished heads woods tw 777 cams, was wondering if is it worth changing the stock cam plate and oil pump with the s&s tc3 plate and pump? bought the plate along with some andrews 57h cams and decided to keep the 777 cams instead so don't know if it will be worth taking it apart for just the plate and pump

 

A lot of the pro builders on here say the stock pump and plate are more than sufficient for even a built motor. Can you return it and get your money back? Or keep it for something else? Would suck to sell it at a loss. They sure are nice looking though

 

Is it worth it or needed? No. They do look nice and function well.
But since you already have it and it's winter, I say go for it!
