Default Twin Power - Shocker Battery

Any opinions on this new (newer) battery? NOT the lithium batt that requires a special charging unit. the REGULAR one for bikes.

The google reviews (the few I found) appear to be favorable.

I did not find anything here in my search.

Any of you guys have experience with this battery?

I will likely be getting one this Monday.

Twin Power - Shocker Battery.

Thank you!

I looked that battery up online, and there's a few things that are not listed for the battery. Like besides saying it's a 12 volt battery, there's no amp rating. As well as what the cold cranking amps are. In the past 10 years, I've been buying my battery's from a place called Battery Mart online. Where that info is listed. They have 2 battery's that I've used, the big crank that has a 26 amp hr rating with 400 cold cranking amps. Which is more than what Harley's battery has, I believe they're rated at 320 cca's. I use a battery tender any time my bike was parked in the garage, and I got 6 years from that battery before it died. For $109,shipped to your door, I doubt you'll get more bang for the buck than that.,,,

+1 on above. I have used Big Crank Batteries for my Harley's (Dresser and Sportster).

Free delivery and I think they are made at the same place the OEM Batteries are made.

One thing to note is that the big crank is made by East Peen / Deka, It's the same battery as what HD sells except that the case and terminals are slightly different so that HD can promote their own brand. The difference in cranking amps is really in how the CCA is speced.

Google "deka batteries"

Don't know about the Twin Power - Shocker Battery but it look like it can be had in Gel and AGM but not lithium.

Their Premium AGM looks to be a Yuasa.. You can tell by the finger holes at the top. The Yuasa does put out bout 10% more CCAs and AH than the Deka batteries.

While I've not used the Twin Power Shockers. I have had good luck with Twin power Lithium battery in a 131ci TC motor. It's lasted close to 4 years where Deka and Yuasa's only last about 1 to 1 1/2 years. Don't know if the newer battery is any good. What will be the big issue here is drain on the battery when sitting. LI batteries die if the charge is allowed to get too low. The bike I run them in don't have any drain when the ignition is off.

In my baggers, I run Yuasa. They last about 6 years without any maintenance chargers.

LOL!! Exactly right my friend.

Already tried that (get a new bike) with 2 diff HD's. THAT (as dumb as it may sound) is 1 of the reasons to get a new bike.

And THIS bike here below......
.

.
I did trade in for a new bike bcs the battery was going bad. LOL!

I trade bikes in every 3 yrs normally and it was close 'nuff.

Now, now, don't judge me.

I was given a twinpower shocker(agm) for testing exactly 2 years ago. No complaints or issues. The battery was equivalent to oem as for CCA. It's currently turning my t124 over . From 110° days to 20° No complaints. I also recommend the yuasa .

i have used the east pen or deka battery and while no issues starting the machine, they did not last as long as the hd unit.
most of the aftermarket batteries are from china, good/bad is a crap shoot. a sorta indicator is warranty, most mfg's pretty much know what their product will do and base their warranty to suite.
sometimes, you can adapt out of the mc market, on my ch, i was able to use 425cca lawn tractor battery way less than a mc unit.
