I hear all this talk about a solid stabilizer up top but mine don't have it and it's adjustable.. Came factory.. why would one spend that much on the link from lucky speed shop and not get an OEM.. 16258-95c as you can see its been around a very long time... And it quite affordable..

Do you know the length +/- of the one you have off hand? The solid one on my 14 SGS is 5" so it would have to be able to adjust a touch either way to work.

Yeah. That is the one on my bike. I works fine. But I have not aligned the bike more than running the engine for a minute without the top link, then adjusted the length of the link to the position of the engine. Hope you can get it somewhere. Be sure to get it for the year of your bike.

Cool........... Thanks. I mean, if it fits close enough and has enough adjustability +/-, it may just work.

It is my understanding that the adjustable link at the top is to align the rear wheel parallel vertically with the front wheel. This must be done with the motor mount loose. After the wheel alignment is complete the link is tightened and then the motor mount is tightened.
That is my understanding.

At the end of the video it looks like something is done to the engine mounts as one is shown there.

@MotoJockey okay without removing my seat and my tank to get an accurate measurement, I tried to get something up in there to get a distance and I believe I got 4 3/4" plus or minus.. it's really tough without removing everything and there's still room for adjustment on that.. So close to 5", I think it's something that might work for you and all the Heim joints are 3/8.. Hope it helps.. I believe the moco gets $42 for it so it's not a big loss either to even just go ahead and try..
