Lol....... ok........ in my defense......... as I stated earlier, I was used to getting the stuff at work and remember it being kinda expensive. Probably because we were required to buy ALL our stuff from Grainger and as it turns out, it IS expensive at Grainger, just not everywhere, lol! Yeah, probably just get it at the local O'Reilly's........

I have been using vibra-tite. I order it off amazon. A 50ml bottle goes for about $20. I comes in several strength levels.

​​​​​​ That's the stuff we used when I did small tool repair for production line tools at the car plant. Works well on 1/4" and smaller hardware.

I use the green Loctite retaining compound. Because I've had a bottle in the garage for years left over from when I was working. Used to use it on key stock.

Which formula? There are a lot of different green retaining compounds, some are permanent
