Default OBD Adapter for AUTEL SCANNER

Hello All,
What adapter would I purchase for a 2007 HD Roadking to attach to the AUTEL scanner? The connector on the motorcycle has four pin positions. Three have pins. One is not connected to anything and has a plug in it.

Does the AUTEL Scanner support the H-D architecture?

That is a good question? I just acquired the AUTEL scanner for my truck. I will have to check with them.

My Autel scanner does not support HD. I wish it did.
Also if anyone has an older Autel scanner they quit undating them. Only good on 18 and older cars and trucks. Rotten bastards !

This has been going on since I bought my first scanner in 1981. No lie, I $10-$15 grand in outdated scanners sitting in my garage. Don't get me started on NY State motor vehicle inspection equipment...

there are only a few communication protocols but you have to have the software that plays with the coding. while big brother mandated the OBD data port and generic coding, the mfg can still have mfg specific codes.
back when each mfg had its own system and ports and some just clip in wires. my first scanner was a OTC unit at 1500 dollars and you had to buy the mfg specific cartridge and port plug.
if you can afford it, buy a unit that does two way communication so you can test functions, code reader from wally is just a few bucks.
also of note: hd used several diff protocols as things got more complicated and faster speeds. nothing new under the sun!

Well I found out the AUTEL does not link to the HD Roadking. Will look around for one that does. Thanks all.
