Quick question: alarm while disconnecting battery
So I've sort of grown up (Ha!) on a sportster 48. And now I'm figuring out the bigger Cross Bones Twin Cam Softail.
The manual on the Sportster is clear: key fob nearby, hit run to disarm, disconnect the master fuse, hit run to off, and plug it all back together when you're done.
But My 2008 crossbones has no info on disconnecting the battery. Do I have to do a similar procedure?
I want to swap in a new battery on the CrossBones, but don't want to wake the bitchy alarm.
Thanks!
Matt
