Default Will I have to reset my Sportster 1200 Security System?

I tried searching for this on the forum and didn't exactly find what i was looking for. I have a 2010 Sportster 1200L. Because my bike didn't start, one of the things i did was pull the battery to have it tested. The test determined the battery was fine so I reinstalled it; then replaced the battery in the fob. The bike started. Will I/Should I have to reset the bike's security system since i disconnected the battery? I know how to do it (i think) if i follow the manual. But my question is do i HAVE to do it once the battery is pulled and then reconnected? Thanks in advance. It's just a pain to follow those instructions.

You don't have to reset anything when changing the battery. Except maybe if you have a clock.

On my bike the procedure for removing the main fuse or battery is to turn on the ignition so the security disarms. Then just reconnect the battery as and when and all is good.

I have a siren and if I just pull the fuse the alarm will go off.

No need once the blinkers flash to set the alarm after you turn off the ignition.
