Default RDL, and Touring Seat Pan 24688 LOW

Wondering if the same exact seat pan is used for different seats. Seat parts 52000142 and 52000033 both show #24688 LOW marked on the bottom.

What are the differences between the two? Schematics show the ...33 has a wider passenger seat, and the ...142 seems to sit back further.

I have a 2015 FLHTK, and want to order a Russell Day Long seat, but I don't have my oem seat any longer. So I ordered a seat from eBay that is a 52000142 seat, not the 54000033 that came with my ride (didn't notice this until afterwards). Will this make a difference? And what about the rider backrest, same fitment?

Also, does anyone know if Russell Day Long wants the entire stock seat or just the pan? Thanks

Looking at your parts diagram picture it looks like those two seats highlighted have the same seat pan.
One is the standard seat (FLHX)
One is the road sofa seat (FLHCU)

There's 5 seats shown in the diagram, the other 3 seats have a different pan.

Thanks for responding. I'm trying to figure this out.

Reason is...I need an OEM seat pan to send to Russell Day Long. I dont have mine any longer, and so I bought a 52000142 off ebay to send them (didn't know about all these different part numbers then. I was under the impresaion all fit any touring model). My 2015 FLHTK came with a 52000033 evidently. Listing of schematic doesn't show those others fit mine, ugh (see pic).

4 of the seats have the same "24688 LOW" marking, all but the single seat. I'm guessing (hoping) they are the same pan and just different foam and covers on them. I'll remove that and send just the pan to RDL.

The -10 seat fits the FLHTK.
The -7 seat (52000142) fits the FLTRX (RoadGlide) and FLHX (StreetGlide) may not fit your Trike.

Edit to add:
According to the schematic you provided, the FLHTK (Trike) and the FLHTCU (Ultra classic Electra Glide) share the same seat.

They all appear to share the same pan if the Blue numbers are correct but, Im not certain.

I added the blue numbers...

Is the #7 seat (52000142) built on the same "24688 LOW" pan? I guess that's my basic simple question, lol.

I appreciate the help, thanks.

I do not know.
I cannot access the HD OEM Parts Service - Dealer info for some reason.
