I received my new seat, #52164-10, yesterday from Chicago Harley. I was surprised to find no Grab Strap included. I called Chicago about this and was told thar the Grab Strap does not come with the seat. I have bought several HD seats both, Softail and Touring, and each and every one of them came with a Grab Strap.
If you ordered and received this seat did you receive a strap?
I have not had an opportunity to ride on the seat, yet. Hopefully, this weekend.
A post elsewhere says the original strap will still work with the new seat. For what its worth, the HD bulletin lists the Part Number for the strap, so I don't anticipate anyone will be getting one included with the seat.

Is the chrome tab that attaches the seat to the rear fender already attached to the seat, or do I have to go buy a couple of flat head screws to attach the tab to the seat?

just got the updated stock seat-lower....never rode enough miles with the original seat to give a good call on whether it is more comfortable or not....updated seat is better than the stocker on my 2007 EG.....
