Default Thrashin Risers

I have a 2024 CVO ST and I'm looking to add some Thrashin Supply 9.5" pullback risers with either mid bend or high bend bars . I've been emailing with Thrashin and he is telling me I would need the longer upper clutch cable. I've watched several YouTube videos and not one of them ever mentioned the cable. If anyone here has installed this set, did you need the longer clutch cable? Thanks!

You don't need the longer clutch cable. Thrashin is probably just covering their *** legally. With 9.5" pullbacks on a 2024 CVO, you have enough slack in the stock cables. Just make sure you route everything correctly and don't lock the bars side to side until you've checked everything.

The parts guy @ the dealership i bought the bike from is very familiar with my bike and the previous owner. He said i would need a longer upper cable and brake line. I removed the stock bars and risers as the new stuff is on the way. The previous owner was in there already or had someone else do some work in there because the ground wire was already moved and some wire harnesses were not reattached properly. The clutch cable has some chewed up spots on it as well. I will install the new stuff tomorrow and see what it all looks like and go from there.

Bars are installed. No need to extend anything. I did have to trim down the little **** inside the right switch housing though. The stock bars had a hole in that spot for the **** to go through the slot in the throttle grip.

Thanks for the follow up.

I hate when people try and sell you stuff that’s not needed just to make a buck. If you’re unsure tell the customer “I’m not sure” and let them make the decision whether they want to buy or not. Just be honest!
