Default Basic mechanic book

Does anyone know of any book or dvd on the mechancis of a harley engine that isn't too advanced?
I don't plan on doing my own work but just be good to know a little about what's going on.

I ordered the softail edition for $39.95 + SH. It is pretty basic maintenance, if you have no idea at all what basic and I mean basic maintenance is it will help you out. If you're not a novice and looking for more detailed engine work this DVD is not what you need. The service manual will give you a pretty good idea of the workings of the motor and everything else.

Factory service manual is also a great way to start and should be real helpful unless you plan on taking the engine apart yourself. Even then, it's well worth the few bucks even for basic to moderate maintenance.
