Default NEW HANDGRIP ISSUES...

I just installed these handgrips (H-D part #56869-06) Knurled Chrome Collection Hand Grips
and a couple of questions about them and/or the install. The thing is now there seems
to be a lot of play on the right handgrip. It seems that I can jiggle it back N’ forth and
when you pull on it (going outside of the bike) it feels like it come off the bar a little
much. What could be my issue and has anyone had this problem on new grips?

If it was installed correctly the throttle sleeve should be locked in under the housing and should not be a problem. You may find a bit of a difference when changing grips because of small differences in tolerences but it shouldn't be very noticable.

If you reference the jiggling, that sounds like a cable slack adjustment there under the bars.

It's in the cable itself under the throttle side of the bars under the rubber covers that cover them.

I would suggest getting a manual before you work on the bike any more to prevent yourself from doing damage.
