Default Shut down whistle?

This TC88 will give a little whistle sound when the engine stops from a shut-off. Has anyone experienced this with their bike? It has always done this since new from the showroom floor. The mufflers were replaced but the whistle stayed. I think it is a D, or F.

Is my bike trying to tell me something?

Please, someone help me, I'm afraid....

I've got a 01 tc88 (not B) with efi, and I've never heard a whistle. Your bike just may like the way you look in those lacy underwear you said you wear to keep the nads warm.

The bike DOES whistle on shutdown. Doesn't seem to bother anything, just like to know why.......

I'll try again....

I'm so freekin tired of my anti-virus software taking charge of my computer with their pop-ups to upgrade right in the middle of what the **** I was doing! Anti-virus software people are the menace, they develop their own anti to sell. So what do they do on their day off? Make viruses?

My response was (as near as I can remember)...

Hell, I forgot....

Yes, exhaust. Yes, either cold or hot. Full of ****-Not. Like it anyhow-yes. Worried about it - some. Looking for similar symptoms from similar bikes....

Thank you,

I don't hear it on mine. It may just be an angle on a baffle. I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd have to say a good percentage of the bikes whistle when shut down.

I have an '02 Ultra and it whistles every time I shut it off. No problems and I have 30 K on the bike.

order the tuner from cfmartin.com . D or F is in the zone. however a B flat or C sharp ,you should take it back to dealer for further diagnosis.
