Default Back rest lean

i have a harley road king classic, i have a backrest for it and hated it. Did not like my ball sack on the gas tank belly on my knees or feeling like i was sitting in a school bus. So i took it to work , took the back pad off. i then took a piece of round stock and put it in a vice along with the legs of the pad. the round stock should be put where you want the bend on the pad legs. i heated up the legs to cherry red gave a couple whacks with the ballpene hammer to give the bend i needed. put back on the bike and wow much more enjoyable ride. i feel so much more part of the bike and comfortable. i hope this helps someone else. only had to make a slight bend for a big difference

I've done the same thing to 2 passenger backrests to give the wife more room and move her back a bit. It takes very little bend to make a huge difference.
