Screamin Eagle filter

I have a 2010 Fatboy. Once you loosen the clamp and remove the Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather Air Filter, how do you remove the two chrome end caps on the filter?

I got the service manual but dont think it covers the stage one upgrade.
