rear brake cylinder hd mod.1993 flhtc

Default rear brake cylinder hd mod.1993 flhtc

I have cleaned and re installed rear brake cylider,re filled with new dot 4 oil,tryed to purge it no success,all o rings ok as well as the piston and cylinder,this cylinder is installed in 1993 flhtc,any advice?

Hi Reynaldo, you will find some helpful tips in the DIY section. I find that on those occasions when bleeding doesn't seem to work, that trying again after a break can work wonders!

HD website calls out for DOT 5 for all pre 2005 FLH models.

I thank you for your reply,I have already fixed the problem,it was the small hole (+/- 015")after the backup hole,due to drirtyness,it was clogged.Now the problem here (mex.)can't get top 5.I'll keep trying.best regards
