Default Title question

So I bought my first harley about 6 months ago, I knew when I bought it that the title had was messed up by the previous owner they check the box engine exceeds mechanical limits, the bike is a 2009 and it reads just over 2400 miles I live on oahu Hawaii and the bike was purchased on the island, so I know it's a mess up. My question is I know it will probably cut the resale value in half is there any way to fix it. Or is there any way I can reassure possible buyers that its the correct milage. Thanks

I'd go to the license branch to see if they can offer any assistance to clear up any title issues.
