I have a 1994 Heritage Softail Classic FLTSC HST with less than 30k miles. I just recently bought it from a guy who changed over to riding those new trikes(two wheels in front). Anyways, I have only had the bike out about a dozen times and it ran beautiful until today. Today I was on the road slowing down to make a right hand turn and as I squeezed the clutch my bike shut off. It surprised the heck out of me, so I coasted to a stop and put the bike in neutral and restarted it, it started up and ran fine for about a mile and then when again I was slowing down, I squeezed the clutch and the bike shut off, this time I eased the clutch back out and it was like the bike was jump started. I am a first time Harley owner and so I am very concerned. If anybody has had this happen to them I would like to hear what they did to fix it. I am looking at maybe the fuel system or electrical system..I think
I would really appreciate any input from any and all

Could be many things. The first thing to do is clean and tighten your battery cables, not just a "tug" test, clean and tighten
Thanks, I will recheck them..I just put the battery in after being stored for winter and I thought I got everything tightened down but I will definitely recheck them.I appreciate the help.
