Default Finally......

...I can stop worrying friends, aquaintances and dealer employees about what bike to buy. I plopped down some cash on a new '05 Deuce today. I'll pick it up next week. I decided to go ahead now and pick one that was in stock at the dealer's instead of chancing it being gone due to the spring buying rush. This particular bike caught my eye several months ago. Now its gonna be MINE!

Be safe, all

gongrats,

I too am a fellow deuce owner. I own a 04. I love the bike and im sure you will love yours too.

Just wondering, what attracted you to the deuce? I liked it becouse of the chrome forks, wide front end, lots of chrome, and not alot of extra baggage like saddle bags and such. I also like the looks of a softail better than the dyna's.
Just preference though. All harleys are nice, its just what you want.

David

Forget 10% off. I've been checking price differences between HD and M&M Cycles and I've found that you'll save A LOT more on parts if you go through them instead of the dealer. There's not too much that I haven't found where you'll save at least 15% off MSRP through M&M.

"Just wondering, what attracted you to the deuce?"

Well, David, I think it was simply the lines of the bike. At first I didn't have any plans to buy a Harley. I was going to buy a metric bike, but stopped by the local Harley shop during lunch one day with a friend who owned a Road King and who wanted to window shop. It wasn't long before I was drawn towards the two Deuces parked inside the dealership in the back row. The rake, the streatched tank, the chrome.....it was like sex on two wheels! You got'a Deuce. You know what I mean.

Yes, I suppose that the expense might begin now. Helmet, leathers, gloves, Xs 2 (wife), insurance... Oh, well...we can't take it with us, can we?
