A wannabe scammer also referenced by another Forum member. PM from Seeou. Same person attempting to pose as the REAL Seller.

You selling stuff and he's trying to scam you?

 

When you reply to a ad, he sends you a PM saying the seller is rarely on the site and to use a fake email to get in contact with the seller.

Got one from him this week when I posted a "Looking to buy". Also got similar messages from four others. Not sure so hate to post their handles here.

 

Just happened to a member from this fght5 guy. I had a for sale post and he got someone who replied on my post. How is it more than a month after a complaint this guy is still a member.

All have just a handful of posts, all either an introduction or something for sale. All referred me to email links, one of which (earlybay) was obviously a scam after the second communication. mdoctore referred me to hemiviper588 who doesn't appear to be a member at all, Ronnier208 referred me to @20roadglidin who also doesn't seem to be a member.

 

As far as I know, there are NO moderator4s here anymore so it's only one guy that is in charge of the asylum here.
So, don't expect much action

 

As a few have said it's obviously a scam.
Most scams are.
No harm.
The ones that work though are targeted at people to allow them to think they're the one who it's going to get something over on someone else.
They deserve it

 

That's too bad that there is no moderators to do the Spam Clean. It gets rid of the scammers and tags / flags them for other sites to spot easily.

About the best we can do as members is use the "Flag" feature to alert whoever is the Admin or a Mod. And, do as we are here and just let others know what to watch for.
