Yeah.

'Rustic' can mean old and tired, too.

Mark, If you get northwest of Madison, some great riding in the bluffs south and west of Baraboo. Take Hyw113 out of Lodi to the Merrimac ferry crossing the Wi river, after crossing go left on Hyw113, take the first right heading north towards Devils head ski resort. Straight up the hill is Bluff Rd (very nice through the trees). When you get to the top, turn left on Tower Rd, take that all the way west back to Hyw113 (lots of up and down sweeping turns). When you get to Hyw113, turn left and go a couple miles to the South Shore Rd for Devils Lake state park (nice ride through the trees if not on a weekend), and you don't need a park pass to go through. The exit out the other end of the park is great (you may want to take it easy the first time up (tight turns going uphill-but really fun with no cars in front of you)! Go north to Baraboo and then left on Hyw136 toward rock Springs, from there either north on Hyw154 to Reedsburg, or south on County PF back toward Sauk city.

Lots of great ride in the area, that's just some of my favorites!

Have fun!
