Loop For Life
The 10th annual Loop For Life was held here in Indianapolis, IN last Saturday, August 21, 2005. It is a 55 +/- mile on I-465 around Indianapolis. The Marion County Sheriffs Department closes off all traffic on the highway for the event. Nothing but bikes using all three lanes. People waving from most of the overpasses and onramps. The event was followed by music, food and fun at the Marion County Fairgrounds. It is a great event and was a real good time. They say there were about 2,500 riders this year. The event usually draws a bigger number but there was a threat or rain that day. Some folks say they got rained on, but my story is that I was slightly moistened to aid in cooling
