As usual ive been modding my bike again.
a year and some ago i had bought the Radio Shack siren.
Some of us have the security but no siren.
HD sells the part for 100 is dollars i think.
Radio shack sells one for 5 dollars.
It is an easy mod to do.
Works pretty well .......
Mod 2 : I was looking at a way to better use my garage remote instead of in the pocket.
I bought the switch on the left of the speedo.
Drilled a matching hole on the right side.
Soldered the switch right to the remotes board and sticky taped to the underside of the dash inside of a playstation memory card case..
Screwed on the new switch cap..
Now when i leave or come home ....tap the right side switch ...BAM !!! door opens/closes.
Not my idea but it was easy to do and no more forgetting my remote.

Hey Randy which siren did you use? I did that last year, but I could only find a small buzzer at Source. It's not very loud but it at least does provide an audible alert.

I got a set of Big City Thunder Monster Baffles on their way and should have them Thursday according to UPS's tracking. I'm really looking forward to hearing the difference between the stock baffle and the Monster baffle and seeing if there is any HP gains as advertised by Big City. I'm thinking of doing a video of all three baffles Stock, Quiet, and Monster.

The funny thing is I called a bunch of shops around here to see if anyone carries the Monster Baffle and nobody had a clue as to what I was talking about.

I just joined this group. Sold my V-rod today to a guy from Okotoks. Here is my new ride. A 2008 rocker. Calgary harley screwed up my tank so it's getting fixed by independent mechanic here in town.
