Front fender mounted up, pics on thread....then removed...heading for powdercoating and emblem install.

Hey guys, joined a few days ago and just finished reading all the posts and linked threads. Great stuff here. I've been wanting to do this for years! Like others, many told me "no way". All your work is showing that it is possible. Thanks for sharing it. My project is going to be a Duo Gllide style conversion of my '09 Fat Bob. Almost ready to start buying parts. Several pages back someone asked about handling and said they were getting drift and other issues. I didn't see a response to his question, but I assume it is alignment based rather then fork swap? I'm just not much of a mechanic. I'm guessing all you guys are having no issues with handling or speed wobbles? Mine's my daily driver so i want to make sure I'm not giving up the quality of the ride for the looks. I'll post progress (and questions) as I go. Great looking bikes here! Thanks again!

Welcome aboard ... between 20-25,000 miles on my front end and it is SOLID ... my bike is a daily rider, too ....

Those of you who have used the fatboy front end. Did you use the stock length tubes? I've got my front end and I noticed that the length of the fatboy fork legs assembled are about 2" shorter than my Dyna FXDXT fork legs. Add that to the additional lowering that I will get from going to a 16" wheel from a 19" wheel and I've got 3 1/2" of lowering. Any info would be appreciated.
