ok help i have on 08 Nightster anyone have a reason why the left leg gets wetter than the right even in light rain? i just returned a pair of Harley rain proof boots because they held more water than my foot could hold! hey harley stood behind the boot and replaced them but even they had no rym or reason as to why that left boot filled up with water as the right boot was completly dry,

@chrome-hahahaha.....yup it must be that 08 nightster you got. you better sell it and get another bike that doesn't get your left foot wet.

I never noticed a difference in one foot wetter than the other on my 2008, I know with the chopped fender I do take on some water, I have forward controls so my feet are out from all the engine and pipes. If you have standard foot controls, that could be the reason. I would think that the angle of the leg and the lack of engine parts on the left side would make the water run down the leg into the boot. I also have highway pegs on my Engine guard. If it really bad, I'll put my feet up, It keeps the water from running down into my boots. I've filled mine up a few times. I spray my boots with camp dry about every six months, if water gets in, it doesn't come out. Really I have no idea what a triple tee is, I don't even have a good guess.

I'm looking for risers, I'd like to find a 2 up 2 back that will fit. I found a set that's for a Dayna. I heard they are all about the same, that the position of the top plate is what makes the difference. is this right?

Buck, Bike looks good. I noticed that the pipes you have, the front pipe runs in front of the forward controls, does it get hot on the foot?

the upper and lower triple trees connect to your fork tubes and the frame of the bike thus allowing you to steer that bad boy!

Buck77, I noticed that you took the red reflector off the rear fender, I carved mine out and put a 4 LED third brake light in it, I also noticed your rear lights look amber. Do you have a brake light?
