I agree, the short shots do look good, but everyone does have them. I saw some Bassani Street Sweepers on a Nightster and they looked awesome as well.
When I bought my bike it had Thunderheaders already on it and when I saw pics of it, I thought I would get rid of the pipes. Luckily I really like the pipes in person and it makes the bike that much more unique... Not to mention they are performance pipes, so that never hurts.

Well, I apologize. No PICS yet. We got hit hard with a cold front that came through on Sunday when I got back. I was a wuss and didn't get a cam cuz it was about -5 that night (with a -25 to -30 windchill)......BUT it finally snowed today up here. I think we got about 3-4 inches the last 8 hours. At least it ain't negative anymore (well, when the wind ain't blowin) Gotta knock the snow off the truck for the drive home.

Well, I did my first little "mod" to my bike yesterday. Not that is was much, haha. I replaced the breather cover with a new color matched Vivid Black Cover. I really like the change in the look though. It was the first step on my quest to "black out" my bike. My problem is I want as much "gloss" black as possible so I gotta do some research into what I am going to do about my pipes and selanoid covers. Powder coat, Ceramic Coat.... hmmmm. I hear from some that powder coat will bubble. I hear from others you should only ceramic coat brand new parts. I have zero clue! lol I'll have to post a thread on the main forum and see is I can get a concensus.

I took my breather cover off and painted it with some rattle can gloss black paint and really like the way it looks as well. I have been debating on doing the same to the belt guard, primary case, etc.

Have you flipped your mirrors upside down? I did that on right after I got the bike and really like the look. I think I can actually see better out of them because theyre not facing right at my shoulders and its a free mod!

Have not flipped the mirrors yet, but I have thought about it. My friend has a V-Rod with the mirrors flipped and I like the look on his bike, but it is a totally different bike. Got any pics of yours flipped?

Yeah it was weird we got a solid snow it lasted for about a day then melted it was retarded how long it took me to get to work b/c of the accidents silly southern people trying to drive in the snow/ice.
