Hey folks
Just stumbled on this groups and glad to see a consolidated group of Nightster riders. Right now, my Nightster is in it's Cycle Shell under 8 inches of snow, but the battery tender is on and we will hit the cold road together as soon as I can get her out of the driveway! Looking forward to catchin' lotsa great ideas here...

Chiming in a little late on this one, but the flipped mirror idea....NightsterAl, are you running drags or stock? I can't really get a good look at your N. I have drags on mine and frankly, my mirrors are useless right side up. (Heck, I just turn my head. LOL) Just been worried about hitting my tank if I flipped'em. Any issues?

On a side note, had some probs at the house the last week and was forced to relocate my N to another location temporarily (long story) . Got the day off tomorrow, gonna get those pics up as soon as I go take some.

Funny...I've read so many threads about storing your bike for the winter: covers...bed sheets...lights under the bike...plywood underneath. Some great techniques. But , one of the reasons I love the Nightster is that she looks just as damn good gettin' dirty! So, aside from keeping a battery tender on in the Cycle Shell, I continue to ride all winter as much as possible. Yup, Nightster loves gettin' cold and dirty!!!

I haven't gone a week yet since I got her without ridin her, but then again I have yet to see any snow in the past several years either lol

Yeah, we get snow here, Dameon. It was 35 degrees here but roads were clear today so went for a nice local ride. Felt great!

I rode about 40 miles yesterday, had some errands to run, it was 39 and raining, My new jacket works pretty good, but I need to wear something other than chaps in the rain, my ass got soaked lol
