Some nice trade-in Nightsters at my local dealer today. A vivid black with forwards and an orange & black. For someone lookin' to buy a Sporty, the Sportster trade-in promo has definitely put some nice low milage bikes - with upgrades - on the dealer floors!

Hey! You guys still alive out here? Just thought I would check in. I am getting ready for some winter mods. I am going to go ahead and get the Black V&H Shortshots. I know, everyone has them, but the only other pipes I really like are the Rinehart Cross Backs and they are a good bit more pricey! (Like 500 bucks more!) Anyway while I am replacing the pipes I'm going to have everything else I can get off the bike powder coated black to match the pipes. I already put on a vivid black air cover, so I think I am going to do the head covers in a gloss black as well. Anyway, I'll post some pics once she is done.

I really need to stop being lazy and get some pics of my bike up. It's been a hectic 2009 so far thats for sure. I have really been debating on blacking out my engine as well, just havent decided to do it yet.

What do you guys use to shine the top of the jugs on the motor?

Went into the garage this morning to get into my cage, MY nighty had droopy bars and the mirrors kinda sagged. Think it misses me. Has been a month now with no rides. Hate this 20deg NY weather.
