Thanks for the invite german lady. I hail from the state of North Carolina. This is my first Harley (always wanted one) & actually my first street bike. Over 14,000 miles so far & getting ready for my 3rd rear tire. Oh, by the way I've got a mother-in-law that is from Andernach, Germany.

Got a question for those with forward controls. I was thinking about putting some on mine this spring and was wondering which manufacturer you all went with? Moco has new black ones for the Bobs. I have also heard Kuryakyn makes easy to install forwards. I was going to have the Dealer install them until I heard what they charge to do it? 4 hours at $ 68 / hr no thanks. I am a little timid when i comes to wrenching on my own bike so looking for some advice. I would prefer not to have to take the primary off....

ybnormal... if your wanting easy to install and dont want to take the primary cover off then its kuryakyn for ya. the use a "beauty cap" over the shaft out of the primary case. my buddy installed kury forwards on his 08 fxdc, they are good looking but the shift linkage rattles a bit, but nothing too noticable. i think the black forwards would look the best. but the price quoted is a little high. i had the dealer put mine on during the 1k service, only $100 more or 2 hours labor. but i bought my hd chrome kit from ebay, saving about 1oo bucks so i think i might have came out ahead! good luck!
