Looks like a great project bike for sure! Definitely a vote for your wife's cool award! I'm sure it will be a blast to work on it, and a dream come true when it's finished. Keep us posted on the progress.

Rode close to 300 miles saturday, from here over to Sylacauga Alabama, and down to Dadeville to see my Daughter. Took my son with me it was a great ride. Stopped in Lineville and ate breakfast. Been a long time since I have been in that area...

Met a couple of forum members new to the Augusta area yesterday and rode over to Edisto Island for lunch - a little over 300 miles round trip. It was a fun day.

Rode down to FL again this last weekend looking for some beach time. Left the house at 0630 and arrived 2.5 hrs later. Ten min after that it started to rain all day sideways, win some loose some I guess. We decided to head back Sunday morning, got caught in a storm cell on I-10 for 10 miles or so then broke out into the crisper and was dry 10 min later. On I-10 I also had a group of Outlaws pull up next to me, I gave them a head nod and only got back nasty looks from them. Funny as they were in the left lane all the cagers just backed off; you could feel the intimidation.
I mentioned the no wave from the 1% boys and girls and was told that 1%ers don't wave guess that would blow their whole image

I never understood the waving thing... I don't see people in cages waving at others in cages. JMT

Well when someone is next to you on a bike and looks right at you I would think most would give at least a head nod... but if people live under a rock maybe they have customs Im not privy to.
People in cages wave to each other all the time here in LA (lower Alabama). This area must be more friendly than most areas in the country, to bad lots of interesting people about; seems most go their whole lives trying to avoid everyone around them

Everybody waves at everybody here in eastern GA. Harley riders, metric riders, sport bike riders, cops, farmers on tractors, people in cars/trucks. Hell, my arm gets tired some days.
