Then I decide to pull the trailer and bike for a 2 week vacation. I drive 2 hours and my lights stop working blowing fuses in my new truck! I replace the fuse it keeps blowing. The brake lights / flashers work but no running lights on the trailer, so I had to drive all night with flashers on.
Diamond cargo won't do a thing as I failed to send my warranty card in or register my warranty! The trailer was still under a year from the Manufacturing date but nope would not do a thing as you are required to register the warranty! Diamond Cargo should have based my warranty off the date the unit was built!
My lights still don't work and I have no idea how to even start figuring out what is wrong and how to fix it and I was not even offered a suggestion of what I could do to fix it when I talked in detail with Diamond cargo! I had a bill of sale from a dealer but nope no help at all!
Good luck with your trailer.

I went down that road with my boat trailer - kept blowing fuses. So, please try this.

First, disconnect the trailer, replace the fuses and make sure all of the lights work. Next, look at the trailer connector (on the trailer). What I might suspect is happing is - there is a short somewhere in that line. Since the brake lights and flashers work, my bet is the short is in the ground. That might control the running lights. My bet is you have a lose wire and it is hitting the metal on the trailer.

Here is a good way to tell. Hook us the trailer, replace the fuse and make sure all is working. Now, go to the trailer and giggle the wires - if the fuse blows, look for that lose wire.

Also, check to see if you have a separate wire for the running lights (usually a 5 pin). If this is not something you want to do, any trailer shop will look at this and check the wires - should take about 10 minutes to fix.
