As was mentioned previously you can save some money on the EZ Steer by installing trees from, I believe, a Street Glide. I'm 65 and am in pretty good shape but don't know how long that will last so I opted for the reverse and steering options. I'm gettin' antsy waiting on mine and will probably have to ride it home in the friggin' snow!!
Im not wishing for winter. But I do plan on finding a parking lot with frozen precipitation. So I can practice, for when I may encounter any unexpected slides. Did that when I was younger, with my first car.

Sorry, my friend. What I thought was persuasive writing was apparently received by you and some others as an over-reaction. I apologize for that. Your posts on this forum have always seemed thoughtful and helpful, so the fault was mine.

I either missed it or too dumb to figure it out but did we ever find out if this fellow has any physical effects from the stroke. The only reason I mention this is the Champion reverse we have is damn hard to get into and out of gear. Our reverse is probably 5-6 years old now and it has a short operating lever. That detent spring is stiff. If he has any physical problems with the upper body then the Champion reverse could be too hard for him to operate.

Find someone with a Champion reverse and see if you can operate it. I love the reverse on our trike but it is a pain in the butt to get into and out of gear.

This could be a very expensive option if you can't operate it!

Just my two cents.

Have you thought about adding a set of ghost wheels to your bike? Might be an option.
