I'll be pulling out in a few, looks like a cloudy/cool ride this morning. Calling for rain this afternoon in Macon not to sure about up north. I'll have the rain gear just in case. Wish us luck, hopefully the rain will hold off.

WHEW!!! Made it! Got back about 5:30 pm. The handoff was a success! Our Mascot is in the safe hands of JonHanna and ****** in SC. Good luck guy's. Ride safe.
I left Macon this morning about 9am. As I turned onto US 41/19 north, the sky just cleared up sun came out, Great! Rode US 41 N to Forsyth, Ga. Then I turned right onto Ga 83 N all the way to Madison, Ga. (there was a hollywood film crew in Madison, Ga filming something for a movie this morning). Then took US 129 N all the way to Gainesville, Ga. Met up with Jon and Rusty at the Texas Roadhouse restaruant for lunch. I had a really good ride 'course it was Sunday so had very little traffic to deal with. We all pulled in at the exact same time! about 12:30 pm. What timing. Had great meeting, great lunch, thanks to Jon for the idea of meeting there. The pic's of our meeting are posted in an eariler therad. Thanks. All in all I had the Mascot for about 225 miles and 24 hrs. It was an honor to have carried the Mascot. Felt like the old pony express in western times.

I will be looking forward to your writeup in the Travels thread.
If it gets to Indiana, let me know, I'd be honored to carry it back to Illinois. My parents plus bro and sis-in-law live in IN, so it'd be a nice 2 (or 3) birds with one stone adventure!
